About Mark
Who is Mark Clennon?
Everyday I try to get just a bit closer to finding out who Mark Clennon really is. In many ways I’m your average 23-year-old kid – I watch a lot of SportsCenter and eat a lot of pizza. Yet, sometimes I have INSANE moments where everything stops; I can’t even eat. I can’t think about anything but making something happen. I’m a creator. I have insatiable urges to learn, grow, and change the world.
I change my mind a lot, and I think that’s perfectly okay. I think that just means I’m constantly evolving as I learn more about myself and the world around me.
What are your goals?
There are so many things I want to accomplish with my life, but here is a top 5 list. Everybody loves lists.
Be happy.
Be a person that people look forward to meeting because they hear that I’m fun to be around.
Learn something everyday about myself and the world around me.
Make decisions without having to worry about how much it costs.
Influence at least one person to change their life for the better.
How will you achieve your goals?
With my thoughts and actions. I will choose to remain positive and surround myself with people that have the ability to make me a better person.
I really don’t have a choice. Failing really isn’t an option. There are people who have overcome extreme poverty, disease, and slavery to achieve their goals. I really don’t have an excuse. I will achieve my goals because I owe it to myself and all of the people who have invested their time in me.
How will you help others achieve their goals?
Education.
I’ll never tell the kindergartener that he cant be an astronaut because his parents didn’t graduate college, or he lives in a poor neighborhood. I’ll make sure to let him know that success has no limits. Nothing can stop him – not race, gender, or social status. I want to be an active contributor to education and make sure every little kid has the tools succeed beyond their wildest imagination.
